Precautions For Using A Dry Cabinet

Apr 03, 2026 Leave a message

Electronic dry cabinets have a wide range of applications, encompassing both household and industrial models. They are suitable for storing moisture-sensitive items-such as archival materials, photographic equipment, digital electronics, stamps, high-end collectibles, electronic chips, silicon wafers, pharmaceuticals, and optical instruments-as well as for use in sectors such as the solar energy industry, electronics manufacturing, and university research institutions. Installation and operation are straightforward:

The dry cabinet must be placed on a sturdy, level surface.

Arrange the internal shelves as needed; their height can be adjusted to suit the specific items being stored.

Ensure adequate clearance behind the cabinet; it must be positioned at least 5 cm away from any walls or other objects.

Do not place the cabinet in the path of airflow, such as near an air conditioner outlet, or in high-temperature environments.

Do not place the cabinet in direct sunlight.

Do not place the cabinet in areas exposed to smoke or excessive moisture/steam.

Connect all power cables in series according to the numbered sequence indicated on the power plugs, then plug the unit into a power outlet (220V/50Hz).

To set the desired humidity level, use the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons (note that button configurations may vary by brand). Adjust the setting until the display shows the required humidity value.

When powering up the unit for the first time-or after it has remained unused for an extended period-allow the cabinet to run empty for at least 12 hours to ensure that the internal humidity level has successfully dropped to a low level.
